Lodging for Harriman State Park of Idaho

This is a small group stay & play retreat, usually with less than 12 participants, including the leaders.  All participants will stay on-site, each with a private cabin, at the Laura Clarke Scovel Education Center this year to offer you more spacious accommodations with your health and safety in mind.  The Park's Railroad Ranch is on the list of National Historic Places and it is located along the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Most paint outs will be right out the front door or very nearby.

The essence of the retreat is to bring artists together, allow for networking and life-long friendships to be created.  We wish to fill this retreat with like-minded artists who enjoy painting outdoors, learning from others and meeting new friends.  Is that you?  Great!

There are 10 cabins surrounding a courtyard fire pit.  Each cabin has either a Queen bed or two Twin beds, a bathroom and a dorm sized refrigerator.  All meals will be served in the conference center which can accommodate 24 people so there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out to eat or work on their artwork's finishing touches.  The conference room has conference tables, lounge chairs and two restrooms.  The catering kitchen is connected but is for your hosts to prepare your meals.  Expect to see elk, Sandhill Cranes, pelicans and possibly a bear along the river in the mornings.  Moose usually wander right through the Park at dusk and the horses are driven past our cabins each morning then back out to pasture every evening.
